Community support for Emilio Lombardi

1. My name is Gemma Oldfield from Sydney (born in Perth)
2. I have just been in touch with Karen Lombardi (Daughter in law of Emilio Lombardi) and we have spoken about the transfer of funds to be sent to her family for funeral costs. She has kindly sent me the BSB and account number for the funds to be transferred to.
3. The funds will be put towards Emilio's funeral costs
4. Karen has sent over the families account details for me to transfer as soon as the funds can be withdrawn from Go Fund Me
7. Beneficiary is Karen Lombardi ( Emilio's Daughter in Law)

84 year old Emilio Lombardi is fighting for his life in a coma after he was allegedly brutally bashed with a car mirror outside his home in Cannington, Perth on August 16.  He suffered a broken nose, eye injuries and deep cuts from being slashed with pieces of a mirror broken off his car. 

This is an appalling and sickening attack which will leave a lasting impact on this man for the rest of his life. Mr Lombardi has been described as a lovely guy who grows veggies out the back and brings them to his neighbours.

I have no relation to Mr Lombardi but something needs to be done to protect our older generations to feel safe in their homes. I am from WA however living in Sydney and my grandfather is the same age living in Perth also.

I want to make him feel loved and supported and raise money for his recovery to come out of this stronger than ever. 

One of the two men have been arrested over his attack.
