Community Support for Jaime

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this request for support.

My name is Jaime and I am a licensed massage therapist in Ashland, Oregon.

My mom, Rita, is in hospice care in New Orleans, and I feel a strong calling to go be with her as much as possible in her time of transition.

The nature of my work is hands on, so in order to go to New Orleans,

I could use support to cover my usual living expenses, travel expenses, and end of year commitments, etc, while I won't be working in my usual way and will be away from home for 2.5-4 weeks.

With so much need in the world, it really is especially challenging for me to ask for support, and at the urging of dear friends,

here I am, open to receiving whatever my communities are able to offer.

This will help me to be with her in her end-of-life preparations,

and possibly to stay through her process,

which of course, is very mysterious and hard to plan.
