Dearest community - my name is Hugo and I am raising funds for my best friend Jessi.

Jessi is going through an incredibly painful and heartbreaking time, after learning of the sudden recent departure of their beloved teen sister, Ocean Maria - A true angel of a being and a devastating loss.

Jessi is a queer visual artist, digital media creator, and musician living in Portland Oregon. Just last month they earned a certificate in web development. They were pursuing goals of leaving the service industry grind, and searching to find work in tech and coding to help support Ocean, right before learning of this news.

I am fundraising to help support Jessi through this time, so they can make the most healing & supportive decisions moving forward. Any and all funds raised will go directly to them to help cover expenses such as rent, bills, travel costs for visiting family, grief support, covering the time off work / and possible moving costs as well. Easing the burden of financial & job stress will be immensely necessary and valuable right now.
