Support for Jenkins' Family

My name is Toni Chappell, a dear friend and co-worker who has grown to be family is in need of help for her precious parents. Shelly Jenkins is a single mother of 5 children and is the only living child of Charles and Dorothy Jenkins. This precious family is in need of help of our community.

Sometimes we become overwhelmed by the trials and difficulties which life throws in our path. We think we have so much to carry....so much to deal with...can we take any more?

It is at those times that we realize that despite what we are experiencing, there are always others dealing with harder times than ours.

Regardless of our beliefs...we truly know that a multitude of people can accomplish what one family can not.

It is for that reason we are asking the multitude to help a dear husband, father, and grandfather Charles who is facing the trials we all dread each and every day. He has battled bravely for several years various cancers and is now being placed in hospice care for cancer of the liver. He has exhausted all funds that his family has traveling to UVA and back several times a week for years.

It is so true that when we lose ourselves in the love and compassion of those in need...we truly do find ourselves and realize how deeply blessed we are. Please join us in prayer and any amount of support you can possibly donate. If we do it unto the least of His children...we truly do it unto Him
