Community Support for the Valadez Family

Ambrosio (Butch) Valadez was a man who suffered from the extremely horrible and incurable disease that is ALS. He was a husband, a father, and a grandfather. Butch passed away Friday, the 8th of November, from complications with this disease. He deserved so much more than what was given to him, but even with the hand that was dealt to him, he made the best of it.

The AZ Beta chapter of Phi Delta Theta has been helping Butch and the Valadez Family for a couple of months, and we were truly growing attached. Butch was an extremely kind man who always put a smile on his face whenever we were around. He invited us into his home with open arms and treated us all like he always knew us. The rest of the family is the same. They are always excited and grateful to have us around. We would love to do so much more for them than we can.
