Community Support for Uncle Ducky’s Final Expenses

On November 1st 2024 my uncle was almost to his home when at approx 9:30pm he was found deceased due to being run over multiple times on Overland Road in Boise. He was a stones throw away from his home he shared with my mother and his identical twin brother when he was tragically killed. He was born to Dorothy Mattocks in 1955 and grew up in Northern California with his 7 siblings including his twin brother. He served in the Army before eventually settling down in Idaho and spent the last 30 years of his life in the Boise area. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and “old man” as we affectionately referred to him. He was feisty and fun and will be missed so terribly by my family but mostly to my son and nephew who have a special bond with him that can never be replaced. He was a simple man who worked up until his life was cut short. I am hoping the community of Boise and the people who cared about my uncle will help my family with the arrangements necessary to see that my uncle deserves a better ending than the one that he was shown the night he passed. You will be so missed Uncle Ducky. We love you!!
