Community Support to Feed the East Side of Buffalo
Tax deductible
Hello, My name is Phylicia Dove, owner of Black Monarchy, a company dedicated to the empowerment and rebuilding of cultural confidence in Black and Brown people. On Saturday, May 14, 2022, on the East Side of Buffalo, our community became the victim of domestic terrorism. A white supremacist took the lives of 10 of our community elders and injured three others in a planned racially motivated attack at the sole Tops Grocery Market in the neighborhood. Our community is both enraged and heartbroken. We mourn with them and have begun to respond to their needs actively. In response to the many calls we've received in light of this, we have joined in solidarity with several organizations to provide support.
All money raised will provide hot meals, food deliveries, non-perishable items, toiletries and other items per family. This initiative is multifaceted and one we hope to continue past this traumatic event and act as a continuum of support to the East Side of Buffalo.
