Hi my name is Janine and I’m fundraising for my youngest son who has Down Syndrome. Cooper is almost 9 years old and loves dogs & cats. He is limited verbally and has low muscle tone that tires him easily. Due to his disabilities he has communication frustration and separation anxiety’s as well as no safety awareness.

I am a single mom who works full time and could use help to get him a companion dog and training for it to help him daily. The dog will be trained to sleep with him at night to keep him warm and calm. During the day the dog will be a comfort when having a melt down, transitioning in daily life, redirecting behaviors, providing deep pressure during meltdowns, keeping him safe outside and in public areas. A true constant companion.
