Compassion for Carrie's ALS Fight
Donation protected
Most years, in November, I grow a glorious mustache typically to raise money for prostate cancer research. However, this year is a little different. Earlier this year my Aunt Carrie was diagnosed with ALS, a disease affecting motor neurons of the spinal cord, which causes progressive weakness and atrophy of muscle. There really is no cure. Due to the Disease, many costly renovations need to be made to her home. This includes installing/building a lift and making sure that there is ramp access to most entryways. Also, most doorways need to be enlarged for wheelchair access. There are many other little tweaks that need to be made to ensure the comfort of my Aunt as she goes through this process. All of these things require money (about $10,000 smackers) So please help me in providing this amazing family with a little monetary comfort In return I hope to grow the best mustache that my body allows :)
