Help Me Compete in the National American Miss Pageant

Hi! My name is Millie Figueira. I'm trying to raise money to compete in the National American Miss Utah Teen Pageant. National American Miss (NAM) is the largest and one of the most prestigious pageant systems in the world. NAM is not a beauty pageant. It is a pageant system dedicated to imbuing young women with confidence and leadership skills; encouraging them to use these skills to make our world a better place.

As a recent high school graduate, I have been struggling to find myself and what I wanted out of life. I was mindlessly going from day to day with no end in sight. When I got the invitation in the mail to compete in NAM, I was so excited! Here was something to get me out of the rut I'd been stuck in! Something that gives me a purpose and a goal to work towards. Even if I don't win, I know I will learn skills that will help me to succeed in any path I choose to follow in life.

The one downside to it all is that pageantry is expensive. If you're not lucky enough to have thousands of dollars just sitting around, you have to find other ways of raising the money. Any money I raise here will help pay for my entry fees, wardrobe, and travel expenses.
