Composting is coming to Cleveland Park!

Our most requested addition to the Cleveland Park Farmers Market is just around the corner. We're working with a local composting company who is generously donating their pickup services, but we need your help to cover the start-up costs.

With this important service, we estimate that Cleveland Park could divert nearly 2 tons of food waste from our landfills each week, at no additional cost to you.

Why $5,000? Here's our cost breakdown:

(15) 32-gallon Toter bins = $975
(20 boxes) compostable bin liners = $1,598
(1) bucket and lid = $22
Large spoons = $14

Marketing = $500
Staff Time = $1,657
