Computers for schools in Uganda
Donation protected
BUPECHIU is a non-governmental organization located in Uganda, founded by Adrian, a retired school teacher dedicated to enhancing education. The organization aims to empower children to take charge of their dreams and futures by fostering resilience, self-leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
In January 2025 we are launching a project to provide over 50 computers and laptops to schools across Uganda. To achieve this, we are actively fundraising to cover shipping costs from the UK to Uganda. We have identified seven schools for this initial phase, all of which currently lack any computer resources. By donating computers, we are negotiating free school placements for children who cannot afford education. To date, we have successfully enrolled over 100 children in schools.
This initiative, though small in scale, aspires to create a significant impact on both students and teachers. Volunteers will offer training and support to educators, enhancing their IT skills to maximize the benefits of the donated computers from ITSA (It's a Digital Trust) based in the UK.
We sincerely appreciate your support and are thankful for any contributions you can make. Adrian is also contributing to the fundraising efforts by providing private tutoring in the UK to help raise the necessary funds.
