David Confer's Cancer Fund
David Confer is an integral pillar of the District of Columbia cycling community. He has brought people of all races, religions, and occupations together through his love for humans and bicycles. He is directly responsible for the creation of multiple D.C. social bicycle rides and events that you may know of or have attended. As some have already heard, David was diagnosed with Cancer (Lymphoma) this past February. Fortunately, David has informed his friends and family that he has received a positive prognosis from his healthcare providers. However, it's going to be an expensive road with him being unable to work and he needs our help.
He has a wide variety of professions which include: bicycle mechanic, bicycle courier, and stagehand. All of these professions involve physical skilled labor, which could be quite difficult for anyone to manage throughout the treatment process for cancer. With that being said, we've created this GoFundMe page to help David with any miscellaneous expenses he will encounter throughout his upcoming battle.
David has touched the lives of thousands of people in the D.C. bicycling community. Now it's time for the community to return the favor. We ask that people donate whatever amount they are capable of giving. No amount is too large or small. 100% OF DONATIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO DAVID CONFER. Thank you for your support:)
