Help Urban Youth Grow Through Nature: Support the TREEHOUSE Program 

(Currently located at the Penrose Recreation Center in Philadelphia)

The TREEHOUSE program (Teaching Respect for Earth’s Ecosystems, Honoring Our Unique Surroundings, and Encouraging stewardship) is a transformative initiative designed to connect urban children, particularly those in low-income areas with limited access to green spaces, to the wonders of nature. Through hands-on activities, community gardening, and mentorship with STEM professionals, TREEHOUSE fosters resilience, mental well-being, and career inspiration for future environmental leaders.

Our Mission:

We aim to immerse kids in nature while building life skills, enhancing education, and inspiring interest in environmental sciences and STEM careers. At the Penrose Recreation Center, TREEHOUSE currently serves children ages 8-16. With your help, we can expand to more communities in Philadelphia, creating sustainable gardens, offering mentorships, and developing structured programs tailored to every age group.
