Connecting a service dog (Fury) to a PTSD owner
Donation protected
Hi Friends!
My name is Fury and I've been training as a PTSD service dog in hopes of helping my new mom through life after some pretty significant trauma she has endured for a long time.
Due to the extremely sensitive nature of my new mom's story, we really can't share much about her...but please know she is a selfless human who would do anything for anyone and who would really benefit from having me around. I want to help her get back to living a "normal" life where she doesn't have to have panic attacks in public situations or be alone at night when she struggles the most.
My journey started with JIllian at Gulf Coast K9 at 8 weeks old. Jillian helped me learn all kinds of cool things from the start. We have been training hard every day learning about the world and tasks to help my new mom. Deep pressure therapy for when she is having a panic attack, retrieving things she needs when she can't get it herself, blocking her space while in public and of course hugs for when she really needs one...just to name a few.
Jillian is a pretty cool lady and you can see posts and stories on Instagram and Facebook (Gulf Coast K9). She has put TONS of time into training me so I can be the best little service dog ever! Please consider donating to help my new mom offset some of my training and raising costs. I promise to make all of you proud!
Love and Licks,
Fury
