Conners Fearless Fight
Hi friends and family,
As you may all know, our nephew Conner was diagnosed with T- Cell ALL Leukemia at the age of 2 in 2016. Nearing the end of his 3 year treatment the family was informed that Conner has unfortunately relapsed at the age of 5.
The plan for treatment now is chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant. Conner will be seeking most of his treatment at Cincinnati Children’s now that he is in remission. The transplant will be done at Cincinnati Children’s, but how long Conner will be there is unknown. Everything depends on how well Conner is doing and if the transplant is successful. There has been talk that he could be there around 2-3 months. This means the family will be there for the holidays.
Conner will be in isolation for about 30-45 days, this means he can only see 7 people who are on a list of approval. This includes his mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, Aunt Karen, Katelyn and myself. This excludes his two brothers Grayson and Logan who are living in Fairborn. This means a lot of traveling back and forth to Fairborn to Cincinnati to accommodate all the children.
During this time Sarah and Matt are able to take time off work to be with Conner, but all of it will be unpaid.
Sarah never in a million years would ask for any form of help. She doesn’t want to be a burden and thinks she is undeserving. This is a very deserving family! It breaks our heart seeing our sister and nephews going through all of this, especially during the holidays. So that is why we are asking for our sister and her sweet little family for any donations during this hard time. The money would be used for gas money (traveling back and forth to Fairborn to Cincinnati), food, and helping them out while they are off work during this time. All the thoughts, prayers, kind words and gifts have been appreciated. Thank you all for your support.
