Connie Fortune

Connie Fortune was a pillar of the La Porte, TX community. Inspired by her husbands sobrity, she helped stand up a community food bank, AA and NA community meetings, and a halfway house in the community. Her personality and tall tails were hard to miss and she was loved far and wide. Connie passed in her home in an arson induced blaze on Monday 22 April 2024. We are asking for donations for the clean up of the fire and demolition of the home.

A celebration of life service for Connie will be held at Light of Christ Lutheran Church in La Porte, TX on Thursday the 24th of April, 2024.

Connie is survived by her sister Donna Wingate, brother William (Pete) Felscher, Son Anthony Felscher, Grandchildren Zoe (Silas) Felscher, Caleb Felscher, and Nevaeh Felscher; Stepdaughters Alison Workman and Paula Groff, and Stepsons Andre Fortune, Richard Fortune, and Nick Fortune.
