Connie Harris's Battle with Lung Cancer.

UPDATE: Connie passed away on the morning of July 8th peacefully in her home around her family. She is now with her Dad and Sister.

Hello, first we want to thank you for taking the time to view this page and read about Connie's story.

Last year, Connie was diagnosed with Stage IV small cell carcinoma lung cancer. The initial prognosis was not good, but she still battled this disease with chemotherapy and radiation for almost a year. Connie has always been independent, and never one to complain. If you were to ask her how she was, she would always say that she was okay.

Sadly, in June of 2023, we received news that the treatments were not benefiting her anymore, and her battle with cancer was coming to an end.

Connie is now receiving palliative care in the comfort of her home with her family and closest friends. We have a nurse and support worker come in 3 times a week to ensure she's comfortable. Connie has days where we see a glimpse of the Connie we know and some days we don't.

This GoFundMe is to help assist with the cost of medical expenses and future funeral expenses. Any amount small or big, is greatly appreciated and will make a difference. All funds will be transferred to Terry Ferguson. Terry has been by Connie's side throughout the whole process and is now taking time off work to continue caring for her.
