Connie Holt Memorial Care Fund
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I write about the tragic passing of my beloved Aunt Connie who was taken from this world far too soon. She leaves behind her only daughter, my cousin Jennifer Holt, who suffered a life-altering stroke in August 2016 and requires professional care and treatment.
The purpose of this Memorial Care fund is to cover expenses associated with Connies unexpected passing, and to secure the healthcare support her daughter Jennifer desperately needs. If you personally knew Connie or Jennifer you are probably already aware of their inseperable bond, unwavering love for one another and positive impacts they made on those around them.
To learn more about what happened and the legacy left behind, please continue reading below. I encourage anyone to subscribe to this page for updates, or leave a comment that I can show Jennifer.
If you feel inclined to make a donation, on behalf of my family, Thank you.

What Happened: On January 4th, 2017 Connie suffered a traumatic head injury as the result of a fall. She was waiting in line at a restaurant to pickup lunch when she began to get dizzy, and collapsed to the floor suffering a severe blow to the back of her head. She was rushed to St. Josephs hospital in Tampa where she underwent emergency surgery to relieve the swelling of her brain. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, Connie passed with loved ones at her side on January 5th 2017. She was 62 years old.
About Connie: Connie was the oldest of 3 children, and a fiercly loving and protective big sister. She raised her only daughter Jennifer on her own, and was truly selfless for her family and friends. Connie could make friends with anyone, she was a delightful conversationist who was not afraid to crack a joke and show her unique, witty personality. Connie loved the game of Golf and for her 60th birthday she fulfilled her life-long dream of visiting the birthplace of Golf: St. Andrews, Scotland. I was so fortunate to accompany her on this adventure which is now my most treasured memory.

About Jennifer: In August of 2016, Connies daughter Jennifer suffered a major stroke leaving her disabled and partially paralyzed. Her loving mother Connie never left her side, spending every free moment she had outside of work to be with Jennifer and assist with her long road to recovery. Jennifers future remains uncertain; she is currently in a 24 hr healthcare and rehabilitation facility and bound to a wheelchair. My mother, Kathleen is now Jennifers health advocate and caretaker. Despite the tragedies that have struck our family, we remain positive, strong and committed to one another.
