Connie Mathison Fundraiser
Donation protected
On November 16th, Connie went to the ER after weeks of progressing symptoms. That night, she was transported by ambulance to the U of M Medical Center and underwent further testing over the next week. On November 22nd, Connie was diagnosed with stage IV brain cancer, better known as Glioblastoma. After a successful surgery to remove the tumor, Connie experienced one setback after another. Unfortunately, our hopes of her defying the odds and living beyond the average life expectancy for this cancer have been shattered.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Connie Mathison. After an eight-week fight, she passed away peacefully on the morning of January 13th.
Many people care deeply for Connie and have asked how they can help. Connie was unable to work during this time, and as Connie’s primary caregiver, Rick has not been able to work either. Medical, travel and living expenses have quickly added up, and we are now faced with funeral expenses. Please consider donating to help alleviate the financial burdens created by this heartbreaking journey. We also ask that you share this fundraiser with others that may be interested in helping.
Thank you for all of your thoughts, prayers and support. Words cannot express how much it means to us all.
