UPDATE: CONNIE JUST FINISHED HER 15TH CHEMO TREATMENT AND AFTER HER 16TH WE GO BACK TO MOFFITT 10/23/23. CONNIE HAS DEVELOPED A FISTULA AND HERNIA AROUND HER STOMA AND A HERNIA AROUND HER BELLY BUTTON WHICH HAS MADE ANY MOVEMENT NOT EASY. WE HAVE USED THE FUNDS RAISED TO SEND HOMEMADE MEALS TO HER A FEW TIMES A WEEK, MEDICINE NOT COVERED AND TRAVEL EXPENSES TO/FROM MOFFIT. Many of you may or may not know that my best friend of 35 plus years Connie Rappold Bowden has been fighting colon cancer for almost 5 years now. After 3 surgeries, 2 colostomy bags and a trip to Moffitt we were given the diagnosis that it's stage 4 and has metastasized into a lymph node and a contained tumor in the wall of her abdomen. We are definately not giving up the fight if anything we are going to fight harder. We are trying to raise money for expenses not covered by insurance and travel expenses back and forth to Moffitt. It cost us $400.00 just in travel expenses for 1 trip to Moffitt. Please help me help my best friend, anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated
