Connie's Olympic dream

Donation protected
Hi everyone, recently Greater Dandenong Table Tennis member Connie Psihogios was selected to play in the women's Oceania team as well as on the Australian Olympic qualifier team from 2nd SEPT - 10th SEPT, meaning she will help Australia compete against other Oceania teams to make the Olympics. This is an amazing achievement in general, but Connie is still only 14 years old!

Following this at an unspecified date, Connie will also be trialling for the Olympics team. We believe she has a good chance to make it, as she has already been competitive in the women's events this year. We want to help Connie as much as we can by sending her overseas to train and prepare.

Unfortunately, these trips can cost tens of thousands of dollars and are mostly all self funded. Last year, Connie went to Germany to train for 8 weeks before the world junior championships and the whole trip cost $20,000 in total.

If Connie can qualify, she'll be the youngest table tennis player in Australian history to make the Olympics. We are hoping to get as much support for Connie's career as possible. Any support will take her one step closer to achieving her Olympic dream and will be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
