Shoulder Stem Cell Therapy
Hi friends, this is just me Connie Shull, a lot of you have not heard from me in a long, long time and I do apologize for that. It was 17 years ago, I was in a motorcycle accident on 10-09-99, that left me paralyzed and wheelchair bound there ever after. If any of you have ever experienced trauma in your life (something I hope you never have to experience,) sadly sometimes those closest to you, can often distance themselves after the event. I am very grateful for those friends that have stuck buy me and helped me all these years. I could not have done it without YOU MY FRIENDS. It has been a tough road but I think I've done a pretty darn good job by myself and all of my friends tell me if they were in this position they could not have done what I have done by themselves.
Since working at Home Depot almost a year-and-a-half at part time. I am experiencing that continuous motion for hours at a time has put a great strain on my shoulders and contributed to my degeneration greatly. Don't get me wrong; I love my job and interacting with my customers; helping them has brought me complete joy and relieved my depression. I Thank the Lord for work because it has helped with my finances and is the reason why I am able to keep a roof over my head. I load and unload my wheelchair into the backseat of my car. As a result of 17 years of TRIPLE DUTY on my shoulders including the loading/unloading of my w/c into my car, and falling out of this wheelchair (this is unbelievably easy since my shoulders are completly shot), I cannot hold my hands above my head to complete a shampoo, condtion, and finally to rinse my hair. Also my hands go numb all the time. On June 27th My friend Teresa drove me to Denver to be examined by Dr. Joel Cherdack at Denver Regenerative Medicine who specializes in stem cell research and regeneration. He confirmed the extreme joint damage bilaterally he concluded that I would benefit greatly from the stem cell therapy and that it will improve the quality of my life if not solve the problems completely. I am very excited but unfortunately stem cell research is not covered under insurance and this is a very expensive procedure that I cannot afford on my own he quoted me that it will cost a minimum of $10,000 dollars!
Today I am putting my pride aside and asking for your help. I am depending on the kindness of friends, family and strangers to help me with this much needed assistance. Please know that I will be forever grateful. I have set up a seperate checking account just for these gofundme donations and I assure you all monies will go toward this procedure. I will update you on my progress. Thanks so much.
