CONNOR’S CYCLE FOR CF (Cystic Fibrosis)
Donation protected
LATEST FUNDRAISER BY CONNOR!
Most of you will be aware by now that my dad has cystic fibrosis, a condition that affects his breathing and his organs inside his tummy. He is on lots of medications to keep him well. It is thanks to the amazing on going research into the condition that new drugs are always being made. Did you know that only 10,000 people in the UK have cystic fibrosis but 1 in 25 people are carriers of the condition including me! This means that you don’t actually have any problems but you could have a child with CF if the other parent was also a carrier!
I am still so grateful for all of your support with my last fundraiser. Together with your help I managed to raise over £2600 for the CF Trust. As it is a cause close to my heart I would like to continue doing as many fundraising challenges as possible and this time I will give the donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Units at Manchester Children’s Hospital and Wythenshaw Hospital in Manchester.
My next challenge is called CYCLE FOR CF! During the May half term I aim to cycle 100 miles within a week with my mum and/or dad (and of course Pudsey the dog!) as well as any supporters who would wish to join us. And in return I ask for your generous donations to keep me going during the more difficult hills!!! You can either donate on the Go Fund Me page or give via the sponsorship forms that may be available more locally.
My mum will give regular photos and updates of our challenge on her social media pages.
Thank you once again for your support. Love from Connor (Age 8!) xxx
