Connor Fetterly - Water Wheelchairs for the pool

It's been almost 5 years since Connor passed away. I am finally feeling emotionally strong enough to do something in his memory, even though I am fighting back tears as I write this... You all know how much that boy loved swimming. We often went to the Gallagher Center in Yorkton, SK to play and laugh in their awesome pool. When Connor broke his leg in 2013/2014 and became a wheelchair user, we had to rely on the water wheelchairs provided to get into and out of the pool.

The Gallagher Center is an amazing facility. The team there is working hard to meet the needs of its users. There are already changing facilities and a mechanical lift available for transfers and changing for users. As a frequent user, I understand that the chairs are maintained and repaired as needed. They strive to meet the growing needs of their population.

I would very much like to donate 2 new chairs to the Gallagher Center so other kids like Connor, can continue to enjoy the pool. I have spoken to the Gallagher Center and they would be willing to put up a plaque that could read "Donated in loving memory of Connor Fetterly (1998-2018) by his friends and family".
