Connor Munson 2021 Nationals & Junior Olympics

Connor Munson (16), a Junior at Westwood Regional High School has qualified for The Outdoor Nationals, Presented by Nike in the Decathlon being held at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, Wednesday, June 30-Saturday, July 3, 2021.

He has also qualified for the USATF Junior Olympics being held at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville July 26th to August 1st.

The decathlon is held over 2 days and includes 10 events.
Day 1- 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump and 400m
Day 2-110m High Hurdles, Discus, Pole Vault, Javelin and 1500m

Connor has been involved in track & field since he was 5 years old. He is currently ranked #3 in the nation for the Decathlon according to MileSplit. He holds his school record in the Decathlon (6195) and the Pole Vault (14'5") and the Bergen Country Record in the Decathlon and is ranked #1 in New Jersey. 

Off the track Connor is an Eagle Scout, a member of the National Honor Society and Content Honor Societies for Science, Mathematics and French and just earn the New Jersey State Seal of Biliteracy in French & English. In his spare time he enjoys Guitar and Singing.
