Support Connor and the Smith family

On the 13th of March, Connor's life took an unexpected turn during a mine collapse at work that left him trapped for hours with life threatening injuries. He was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in a critical condition and put into an induced coma on the ICU ward.

Over the last week, Connor has been fighting for his life and has undergone many major life operations on his lower body whilst navigating internal complications that have presented as a result of the trauma.

As we all know, Connor is a true fighter and the strongest, most determined person we've ever had the privilege to know. With more surgeries to come, Connor's road to recovery is still unknown. Despite the long road ahead, his resilience and strength continues to shine through each day.

The Smith family are so incredibly grateful for the army of supporters and best wishes from everyone and would never expect financial contributions. I've created this page for those who wish to contribute something small to help alleviate any financial burden that comes with this long journey.

Donations will help ensure Connor gets the best rehabilitation and treatment, giving him the best chance to have a full recovery. Funds will also support the family with finding long term accommodation to ensure they can be by Connor's side through every step of his recovery.
