Conor & Ruairi's Rhode to Westport 200km Cycle

This past year has been challenging for everyone. However, it has been especially difficult for the Morris family, people in the Rhode community, and me and my brother Ruairi. In late May 2021, due to mental health problems, our beloved friend Dean ended his life. Dean’s tragic and untimely death left a void in our lives, in the lives of his many friends, and in the lives of his broken-hearted parents and siblings. To commemorate Dean’s life and to highlight the fact that there are times in all our lives when we need support, need a shoulder to cry on, need to talk about what is troubling us, on December 18th, Ruairi and I are cycling two hundred kilometres. The money raised will be donated to Jigsaw, a national charity whose vision is to create an Ireland ‘where every young person’s mental health is valued and supported’. We plan to complete the 200-kilometre cycle in eight hours. To participate in our fund-raising initiative and to help to keep us motivated as we ‘Cycle for Dean’, contact us to book a time slot.
