Conover Family Medical Costs
Donation protected
Hello everyone. My good friend Sarah’s dad was in a devastating accident on September 12th. I have set up this fundraiser to reduce the burden of medical costs to hopefully support the Conover family.
Les was in a serious accident while working on the building for his up and coming business on 09/12/2020. Since retiring, Les has devoted much time and energy into his business. He was airlifted to Mercy St. John where he had emergency surgery, and has since been in the ICU in an induced coma since.
He suffered many injuries such as an emergency surgery to remove his spleen, partial removal of his colon, removal of appendix, collapsed lung, a broken left femur and tibia, every rib on his left side is broken, both wrists are fractured, along with other bones. Parts of his face and skull are fractured. There has also been minimal bleeding in his brain and currently there is a lot of swelling. He will require multiple surgeries to fix all the injuries and trauma he has endured.
The doctors and nurses have done a tremendous job working with the Conover family and taking care of Les to get him stable again. Hope gives strength, but the future is unknown.
Les is not only a big family man but he’s also an iron man, avid swimmer and biker, Boy Scout troop leader for his son Nicholas’ troop and also a scout leader for a special needs troop. He is known for being funny, the loudest person in the room, and always giving his time to help other people.
The Conover family has received a lot of generous support from family and friends already but donations will help with the burden of all the medical costs that are piling up.
Above all, keep Les, Cathy, Sarah, Nicholas, and the rest of the Conover family in your prayers during this trying time.
The Conover family appreciates donations if able and PRAYERS.
Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
