Conquering with Mann power
Donation protected
Just a week before her 36th birthday, Kelly Mann was diagnosed with breast cancer. A cancer diagnosis for anyone is devastating, but Kelly is navigating this journey with grace and grit.
While we are grateful that her cancer was caught early, Kelly has a long road ahead. We celebrate that she just finished 12 rounds of chemo! She is now prepping for a double mastectomy with reconstruction, recovery from that, a year of monoclonal antibody treatments, and 10 years of hormone therapy. We are hopeful and prayerful her journey will not include radiation, but we won't know for sure until after her mastectomy.
Kelly is employed and has good health insurance, but she is receiving treatment 3 hours away in Dallas and facing direct costs associated with:
-Hair pieces to give Kelly confidence and normalcy while her hair grows back
-Gas to and from Dallas
-Meals while gone
-Babysitters when family isn’t available
-Pet sitters
-items related to treatment/recovery/surgery
Cancer costs a lot. Not just financially- but physically, emotionally, mentally. Let’s ease the burden for the Mann family where we can.
