In June, my dad was diagnosed with covid-19. Its been a rough 5 months and my dad is a fighter, but my family is struggling. Months of doctors visits, care, and medication prices have begun to pile up. Not including the cost of all the scans our medical bills have gone up over $350 a month. We got past the scariest part, but my dad is still fighting. As a resullt of covid he has developed neurological health issues that cause him to twitch so bad that he has neck pains, his legs go numb, he gets dizzy and almost falls over. They’ve been so bad that at times they wake him up from sleep. After an MRI the doctors said that his brain has had changes. All of this has prevented him from working anymore and with assistance he’s recovering less than half of the money he was making. My parents have lived in the same house for 15 years.They’ve always paid their bills, cared for our family, and worked hard to get where they are now. I love my dad and it hurts to see my parents in so much pain and stress and I want to help them in anyway I can. They shouldn’t have to choose between keeping their home and paying for his life sustaining medication. No one should have to make that choice.  I feel so powerless right now and so I’m asking for help. However much you can give my parents we are grateful regardless. Thank you.
