Construction of home for missionary family

"My name is Philip Jones, a former pastor for over 25 years in Texas. God brought me to Uganda in 2007 and partnering with local staff, we started HOPE Children’s Home under the support of ISA117 Ministries from San Antonio, Texas. For 16 years we have cared for over 250 children.

"In the past 12 months 17 of our kids have graduated from universities in Uganda. As a registered and licensed children’s home, we currently minister to and care for over 100 children including some personally from our extended family.

"Esther and I have 3 children but a household of 12! This past January, we had over 18 family for the entire month in our 1600 sq ft rent house ! We poured the concrete foundation of our first home a year ago and our annual rent is now due. We hope to have the roof on in a couple of weeks. But, it is not safe for us to live in our area without a compound security wall (10’ high). In order for us to move in we need 18 doors, 21 windows, and 620’ of security wall. The estimated cost of doors and windows is $9,000. The estimated cost of the security wall with entry gate is $10,000. Other structures (boys quarters, chicken house, auto workshop - all attached to the perimeter wall) will come with time but we are confident in God’s heart for us and His plan for our family in Uganda ❤️! We are so very thankful!"
