Consuelo Rosas

On the 4th of July 2022 Consuelo’s battle with cancer ended. She was not only a wife, mother, abuela, sister and daughter but she was a very dear friend of mine. I met Consuelo through pickleball and we became fast friends. Sometimes in life you meet someone and it is as if you have known this person all your life… this was one of those times. She was such an extraordinary person who had the best sense of humor and infectious laugh to go with it. She loved being a mother and recently a grandmother. She didn’t want to be called grandmother as she felt she was too young for that, so she came up with Ella. This was Consuelo, she lived her life on her terms all the way until the end. I don’t understand why she had to leave us so soon, but I do know that she is in a better place. Unfortunately, she leaves behind her loved ones who now have to pick up the pieces. I thought that any financial contributions from her friends would help her family in this time of sadness and loss.
