Continue medical insurance

Hi, I am Steve.

As many of you know, I am in stage 5 kidney disease, and am on dialysis.

I only started to receive Social Security disability in January 2023. I have not worked full time since February 2021. All bills, including medical insurance, hospital stays, as well as a house mortgage, have been paid with money from my 401k. I have totally drained that resource.

I am still trying to get approval for Medicare, and applied for a grant from the American Kidney Foundation. I still have no final answer from each.

As it stands, I cannot pay my medical insurance premium, as well as mortgage, and other insurances, on my disability check.

The money I want to raise would ensure that my medical insurance would remain up to date. If approved by Medicare or AKF, any remaining monies would go to paying a portion of medical debt.
