Continued Support for the Fosse Family

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to update you on my mother's health journey and to ask for your support once again.

As many of you know, my mother has faced significant health challenges in recent months. Following two mild strokes in July, she bravely battled through recovery, only to encounter further complications in November when her colon ruptured, resulting in two blood clots in her legs. The subsequent surgeries and treatments, unfortunately, led to several complications, prolonging her stay in medical facilities far beyond what was initially anticipated.

Throughout this ordeal, my mother has shown incredible strength and resilience, defying the odds time and again. However, the road to recovery has been difficult, and she is now facing the prospect of yet another surgery to address complications from a previous procedure.

In light of these ongoing challenges, I am once again turning to our community for support. With both my parents facing health issues, and my own recent job loss, finances are incredibly tight. The generosity shown during the initial round of donations helped immensely, allowing us to make necessary modifications to our bathroom to ensure my mother's safety and comfort.

Now, I am hoping to address another safety concern: the stairs leading to our basement, where the washer and dryer are located. These stairs pose a significant risk to my elderly parents, and I fear for their safety every day. To mitigate this risk, I am seeking funds to install a washer/dryer combo in our kitchen and make additional accessibility modifications to ensure their well-being.

Truthfully I hate asking for help and I am embarrassed to be here, but I am left with no choice but to reach out to our community once more. Your support and generosity have been a lifeline for us during this challenging time, and I am endlessly grateful. I pledge to be transparent with all contributions received and to ensure that every dollar is used to support my family's needs.

these funds will be allocated towards fixing and remodeling the kitchen, to install a ground floor washer/dryer combo so my parents can avoid using the basement stairs, and then also making the kitchen more accessible for my parents.
