Contribute to Erika's Beautiful Farewell Service

On October 3rd, 2024 at 1:32am we lost an amazing soul. A strong, sassy, hilarious, loving woman… a mother to 5 beautiful children. A daughter, a sister, an aunt and a great friend. Erika Lyn Perez gained her angel wings & for us down here on Earth, our lives changed forever.

After a few days of feeling sick, thinking she had Covid, Erika ended up in the hospital. The doctors believe Erika had Meningitis which developed into Sepsis. It all happened so quickly and her passing was so sudden. We were all praying she would be able to come home. Her family plans to have an autopsy done to confirm that is what caused her death.

While speaking with her father Malo, he said their main concern was giving her a beautiful service & burial or cremation. A quote directly from him: “She deserves the world even if she is gone.” I offered to do the legwork to start a GoFundMe to assist them with the expenses. After also speaking with her mother Jennifer, both of her parents gave me their blessing to start this GoFundMe.

The funds will go directly to her mother & will be put towards Erika’s services & her burial. Anything that may be left after those expenses, will be split amongst her 5 children. Ryan, Addison, Wyatt, Mac & Ian.

On behalf of her family, I want to thank everyone in advance who donates or shares. Thank you to everyone who has shown support & love for Erika, her children, her parents & her family. It brings me some peace to see how many lives she touched in her time on Earth. So many friends, class mates, coworkers, community members and Dunkin customers filling our Facebook feeds with memories & support. Please share this fundraiser & help us spread the word!
