Contribute to Jimmy's Loving Remembrance

Thank you for considering helping during such a difficult time. My brother, Jimmy, passed away on June 27, 2024 in the hospital after being there for 8 days and unresponsive. I was with him every day and was his decision maker. The Monday prior to his death, I had to make the shattering decision to put him on comfort care only to comply with wishes we had talked about before his final hospital stay. Myself and our mother were right by his side when he took his final breath at 04:19.

Jimmy is so loved and deeply missed. Many members of our family were able to come and visit him in the hospital. Our dad, who lives out of state, has already paid for the cremation so, I am just asking for a smaller amount to be able to have an intimate memorial. Because of my presence at the hospital with him, I missed work and don't have the spare funds to do this right for our family.

I am asking for $500 to order some personalized memorabilia and be able to provide food, and purchase an urn. Jimmy was talented with multiple instruments, loved fishing, loved everything about nature in general, and he was so caring. I want to honor him and his memory, and make this memorial easy and helpful for the rest of our family during these heartbreaking times. We have not picked a date yet to hold the memorial, but I would like to get memorial items ordered as soon as possible.
