Contribute to "JT's"Recovery Fund

My name is Pastor Melvin D. Brown of the Gospel Temple Baptist Church of Campbell, Ohio. I’m the owner and proprietor of New Directions Barber Shop in Akron, Ohio, where a phenomenal young man by the name of John "JT" Thompson works as an independent contractor licensed barber. JT is the former business owner for 7 years at Rennies Barbershop of Akron and one of the country's best barber hair stylists. We’ve enjoyed working with each other going into our 4th year, but unfortunately, he’s encountered some major health issues. He had surgery on June 29 to remove a cancerous mass from his spine. As of now, he has no movement in his legs. There is no timetable for his recovery. But until then, I’m asking family, friends, customers, barbers, and hair stylists—everyone who has been touched by the goodness and greatness of his presence—to help contribute to his recovery fund. He’s not able to work; being self-employed is limiting what he usually would be able to do for himself, so I’m asking for us all to be a blessing because he’s been such a blessing to us.
