Dear family and friends, it’s with a heavy heart that on behalf of the Arellano family, we announce the departure of Leticia, or as I called her with great love, Nina. On Friday, November 1st, she passed away unexpectedly, leaving her loving husband, daughters, and family completely heartbroken and devastated. She had a liver transplant she was recovering from beautifully, but unfortunately, her health took a left turn and worsened over a period of a month, and she wasn't able to recover. She fought hard and did everything she could with directive from her medical team, but God had other plans.

Lety was very well known and deeply loved by all who knew her. To know her was to love her. She loved loud and proud and loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook, and we all loved her food. That secret ingredient she boasted about was Love. I wish I didn’t have to write this, at least not yet. We wish we had more time on earth with her. I know a lot of you that read this will agree. She was loving, warm, kind, and super hilarious. One of a kind soul that will greatly be missed.
