In memory of Francis Mainoo

We are close friends of our wonderful Francis and his wife, Christiane. We are still deeply shocked and saddened by his sudden death on October 21st 2023 in Cyprus.

Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Francis, knows he was a rare gem, one of life's real treasures, and his passing is a sorrowful reminder of just how unpredictable and fragile life can be.

Words cannot describe the gap he leaves behind, and it is painful knowing he won't be here to see his 8-year-old-son Jakob, who he absolutely adored, grow up.

Francis was so very proud of Jakob, and was wholly dedicated to doing all he could to secure a wonderful future for him. Jakob's education was extremely important to Francis, and he dreamt of making sure Jakob had every opportunity ahead of him for a happy and fulfilled life.

Christiane and the family now face the sad reality of life without Francis, and the road ahead will be tough. Our hope is that through this page we can support the future Francis wanted for Jakob.
