Contribute to Sara's battle and recovery!
If you know Sadako, or “Sara” Camacho, you know her as an incredibly smart, witty, and talented young girl - well beyond her years. Sara has spent her nine (and a half) years on earth lighting up every room she walks into, and touching the lives of those she comes in contact with.
If you have been fortunate enough to meet Sara, get a glimpse into her creative mind, or hear her DJ her favorite records, you know just how special and magical this little girl is.
Recently, Sara has been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) after she discovered a mass on her ribcage. She has been extraordinarily strong throughout this process, and even more now, as she begins her 9 month-long journey of chemotherapy and radiation.
Sadako and her family are entering the beginning of a hard and serious year of treatments, doctor appointments, and adjusting to this new way of life to support her well-being. If you may feel impacted by this brave girl's story, please consider contributing financially to her and her family. Your help will provide measurable, important, and meaningful relief during this process while Sara and her loved ones navigate the complexity of the healthcare system that will also provide her critical care.
We are starting this Go Fund Me to assist with the additional costs that are adding up, as well as set our beloved girl up for success during her treatment and recovery; so that when she comes out the other side, she may continue to shine, inspire, and be her authentic self with the brightest future.
We ask that you please share Sara's story and keep her and her family in your thoughts, and we will make sure to keep this page up to date during Sara's treatment.
Sara’s parents Nicole and Eric Camacho want to thank everyone from the bottom of their hearts who have reached out to send love, prayers, good vibes, healing energy, moral support, gifts for sara, etc. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone so much ❤️
