Starting from scratch is hard, especially when it's your small business. With this fundraiser, 1202 Magazine will be able to obtain working capital, pay for equipment, pay contributors (writers, photographers, interns, social media, etc.), pay for partnerships, and help pay for the publication's first print issue to help bring the platform and artists involved to light.

A little bit about 1202 Magazine:

Since its launch in October 2023, 1202 Magazine has served as a platform for emerging artists to tell their stories from fresh and unique perspectives. We cover fashion, beauty, music, art, culture, and visuals. Stories include Q&As, long-form essays, poems, reviews, and opinions. We emphasize local and emerging artists, especially Black, Brown, POC, LGBTQ+, Indigenous, and disabled. We emphasize them through honest, authentic, transparent, and unique storytelling.
