Contribute to the campfire circle dedicated to Banjora

Wendy Game, or Banjora as many of us came to know her, was a passionate and dedicated Leader in the 1st Berowra Scout Group for many years. With seemingly unlimited energy and patience, she introduced hundreds of Joeys and families to the joys of Scouting. Sadly, Wendy passed away in 2022 after a battle with leukaemia. While her life was much shorter than it should have been, her impact was profound.

To honour Banjora and her Scouting legacy in Berowra, the 1st Berowra Scout Group has constructed a beautiful campfire circle behind our Scout Hall. Banjora LOVED a good campfire and singing some songs. Now, Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers will be able to enjoy campfires for years to come and think of Wendy.

Constructed out of sandstone and built to last for decades, the campfire circle has been a significant (though worthy) expense for our group. We are asking for any assistance you can offer to help cover the costs so we can continue dedicating our limited funds to delivering activities to our young members.

Any funds beyond our target amount will go towards youth activities and hall maintenance.
