Contribute To Veteran Michael Newell's Final Farewell

My name is Kate Newell Okojie, and my father, Michael Stephan Newell, died on December 23, 2024, the day after he turned 75 years old. He was a Vietnam veteran, former Denver police officer, and mentally ill alcoholic.

He left no money to pay for cremation, memorial arrangements, or debts. My family cannot afford to pay for his body's transition to its final resting place, as we have two children and have missed much work this past month to care for him in his dying days. Therefore, I am reaching out to our community and beyond for financial assistance.

Anything you can contribute is much appreciated and please share widely. I cannot proceed with any part of the cremation process until I have the funds in full. My family is deeply grateful to you for contributing!
