Team Steve- For Steve's Recovery!
Donation protected
On behalf of Team Steve- Ron and I have created this GoFundMe for our brother.
On August 19th, as many of you know, Steve had a serious racquetball injury Steve was playing racquetball and fell head first into the wall. He fractured 4 vertebrae in his neck and damaged his spinal cord. Initially, he was completely paralyzed but gained movement to his legs after the first day. Since surgery last week, he is regaining mobility, use of his arms and hands and has a ways to go. He is literally a walking miracle!!
Thank you all for your incredible generosity through your love, prayers, and support. The good news- Steve is recovering at an amazing pace being the strong man he is, surrounded with grace, love from family and friends and incredible medical support.
The CHALLENGE and REALITY of what is happening are that he will need to stay in recovery mode for another one-two months. The hospital bills, incredible rehabilitation through Saint David's on in Austin (covered at 50% for 10 days), monthly household expenses and medical equipment are astronomical and they will need all of the help they can get during this time. JoAnn will be by his side, as well as his devoted family every step of the way. Please know that any and every contribution counts no matter how small or large. We thank you, with all of our hearts!
