Contributions for Lane Gillis' Service

My name is Laura. Lane Gillis is my brother. He passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2024 in his home. He is leaving behind his son Wyatt, Mom Kim, Dad Harlin(Tony) 3 sisters Marsha (Curtis) Laura, Mary ( Stephen) 5 nephews Raylan, Shawn,Paul, Gavin and Warren and 2 nieces Haley, Lilly.

Lane was diabetic and suffered with immense nerve pain most days. He would come to mom's house to rest or relax and he would ask for back or foot rubs . He liked to joke that I was the only one who would rub his feet for him. What I would give to have him here now just to do that.

Lane had a good heart and was kind and generous to anyone he met. He helped anyone he could. He was always there when we needed him. Whether it was a phone call to just talk, car problems or even to help with the well house. He never said no. Sometimes he would ask to borrow our cars and he would go fill up the gas and bring it back to us , just to show his love for us.

His son Wyatt was his world. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do for him. Everything Lane done was to show Wyatt the type of man to be or to show him how much he loved him. He spent most of his free time doing things with his son, his pride and joy.

We are asking for help if you are able to do so to help give Lane the service he deserves and to help make sure everything is taken care of that needs immediate attention. We also asks for prayers as we navigate this difficult time for our family. Feel free to leave any stories or photos as they are cherished by many.
