On June 14th, 2020 a beautiful soul’s life came to an end, when he fought the fight of his life for 2 months, against the virus Covid-19. On June 13th, 2020, he was to wed his fiancee Susan, but due to the pandemic and Jesus falling ill, everyone’s lives changed, and we were all in the battle with Jesus to keep him fighting for his life.

Let me introduce you to Jesus. Jesus R. Carlos was not only a son, but he was a brother, a father, an uncle, fiance, a friend, a mentor and so much more.  To his family he was known as (Ralphie), to some he was their brother in Christ, and to others he was just good ole Jesse. For those of you who didn't have the opportunity to meet this beautiful soul, he was an amazing man. Jesse had such a big smile it would make you want to smile, and had a hug of a bear. He was a man of kindness, forgiveness, encouragement, wisdom, and love.  He had a heart that was filled with so much love, that when you would meet him for the first time, he would make you feel a certain type of way. That way of feeling was inviting, caring, concern, and love. He was the kind of man that was always there for you when you needed someone the most. He would always put everyone before himself, and he was completely selfless. He touched so many people that they came to him for comfort. He always gave a word of encouragement, he never judged a person, he was always accepting and loving. Jesse was just a wonderful man, he was filled with so much love that it was almost unbelievable

You see, if you knew Jesse, you would know that he had a gift. His gift and greatest achievements were grounded in his ability to uplift others’ spirits when they were down, he was the rock everyone depended on for strength, safety and security. When people ask you “how are you”, as humans, we’ve adapted that the socially acceptable response is to always say that we are fine;  even when we aren’t. You see, if you were going through a hardship in life, he would somehow know. He would always respond with, “How are you really... doing?” until you opened up. This is why he was a caring person, always concerned about others in their hurt, and their problems.

Jesse was also a man of God, he was a fisher of men for the lord, that his main objective was to serve the heavenly father. He was such a man of God that he wanted to save souls, would always go out of his way to pray for others, and was relentless to introduce the scriptures of God. Jesse had a passion, and that passion was to spread the Gospel, one video at a time. He did this, through his recordings of services and conferences on his Youtube channel; “Through The Lens Ministry”.  Jesse inspired so many people, that others who would call him from out of state, just so that he could pray for them. Jesse underwent so many illnesses, yet, he never let that get in the way of his purpose, which was to serve God.

During this time of grief and loss, we ask our family and friends, to contribute whatever they can towards the funeral and any out of pocket expenses to the family. We would appreciate whatever is in your heart to give, thank you and God Bless. We will forever miss Jesse, he will always be in our hearts.
