In times like these, we truly understand the power of community, and we humbly ask for your continued support now. On June 23, 2023, Adam Paul Whiteley, 37, of Ann Arbor, MI, formerly of Evanston, IL, suddenly and tragically passed away. He suffered a major cardiac event in his home with his wife present on Thursday, June 22nd and despite efforts to resuscitate him, he could not be revived. For those who had the privilege of knowing Adam, he was a celestial presence in their lives. He possessed a larger-than-life persona and an insatiable thirst for living. Adam was a true jack of all trades, mastering skills and pursuits with curiosity and determination. His diverse range of talents included painting, locksmithing, triathlons, Ironman competitions, marathon running, poetry writing, and self-taught proficiency in multiple musical instruments. Adam embraced life wholeheartedly and encouraged others to do the same. He dreamed big. With his hair-brained schemes and enthusiasm, Adam pushed boundaries but knew how to toe the line, never going too far. He was authentic and an inspiration. There was an air of wisdom about Adam, as if he knew something that we didn't. He was a true force of good, a rarity in this world. To many, Adam was perfect. Adam's greatest accomplishment was the family he built with Kate. His dedication and love were evident in his role as a father to Harrison and Birdie. With unending patience, calm, and compassion, he poured his heart into raising them. Adam's nurturing and steady presence created an environment overflowing with love. He filled their home with laughter and music. Family always came first for Adam, and he prioritized the well-being and happiness of his children above all else. Adam held the title of favorite uncle among all the cousins. He was simply the best and so loved. In this aftermath of such a devastating event, the outpouring of love and support from the community has been incredible. People from all areas of Adams life are asking how they can assist in alleviating the impact of this unimaginable loss for his wife Kate and their two children. To simplify efforts, we have created this contribution site. The funds collected here will aid in easing the family's adjustment into life without Adam. Your care and compassion means the world to them as they navigate this immensely difficult time.
