بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

In the name of Allah (God), Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

ٱلَّذِینَ إِذَاۤ أَصَـٰبَتۡهُم مُّصِیبَةࣱ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّاۤ إِلَیۡهِ رَ ٰ⁠جِعُون ١٥٦

“those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, ‘We belong to God and to Him we shall return.’”

Holy Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 156

As Salaamu Alaikum. Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala (swt) [God, Glorified and Most High] has called our Dear and Beloved Bro. Imaad Ajala (r) home on the best day to be called, Al-Jumu’ah. He was shot on the 4th of July, and passed away early the next morning on friday, July 5th, Jumu’ah.

Our Beloved Bro. Imaad has left behind wife and children, including a young one, all whom he truly loved and frequently showed his love for them. He also showed that love, generously, to others and especially those in need. He was dedicated to changing the conditions of inner-city Milwaukee, and his death was a tragic result of those conditions.

Imaad’s Janazah (Islamic funeral) will be held on mon. (7-8-24) at Masjid Ar-Rahman (the Islamic Dawah Center) at 5135 N. Teutonia Ave.
