Control the Bleed fixed cabinets & kits

Hi my name is Tanya and I am the founder and Director of the Connor Brown Trust.

The Trust was set up after my son Connor was killed in a knife attack in the City of Sunderland in February 2019. Connor was stabbed 5 times with multiple other injuries.

We have worked tirelessly to prevent more young people becoming victims or perpetrators of knife crime. We held a successful campaign last year to raise enough funds to purchase 13 cabinets and 30 mobile kits which have been placed in and around Sunderland.

We donated 4 fixed units to Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service as they are a focal point within communities.

We now aim to raise enough to purchase a further 13 fixed units for each Fire Station across Tyne & Wear.

These Control the bleed kits are vital in any emergency when there is a catastrophic bleed. Each kit contains specialised bandages to help stem the blood loss until emergency services arrive. By controlling the bleed can potentially save lives.
